About Us

Welcome to Back British Farming Official — a small team with a big heart for British farming, proudly based in Cornwall. What began as a simple idea to support our local farmers has grown into a nationwide brand recognised and celebrated across the country.

We never imagined the incredible support we’d receive from people who share our passion for homegrown produce, rural life, and the high welfare standards upheld by British farmers.

Our Back British Farming Official clothing range was created to help raise awareness — allowing people everywhere to show their support in a visible, polite,  everyday way. Every item you wear helps spark conversations, spread pride, and remind others why backing British farming matters.

How did BBF begin?
Like many small ideas, ours started at home—during lockdown, selling our farm’s beef boxes at the farm gate. We wanted a simple polo shirt that said ‘Back British Farming’ but couldn’t find one. After some searching and experimenting, we came up with a basic design. To our surprise, our beef box customers loved it and started asking for their own. That little spark is what led to BBF becoming what it is today. We set up a website and received our first online order on February 11th, 2021. Since then, we've been deeply grateful for the growing support we've received—it truly means the world to us.

 

Who can wear BBF?
Absolutely anyone. You don’t have to be a farmer, or even live in the countryside. Whether you’re in the city or the middle of nowhere, if you care about supporting British producers, this message is for you. One moment that really stuck with us was when a vegan supporter told us: “I want those who consume animal products to only consume products from animals that were raised to the highest possible standard. I therefore support your message.” That meant a great deal to us.

 

What does BBF give back?
Giving back is at the heart of everything we do. We’re incredibly proud to support the farming community not just through our message, but through real, tangible contributions. From donating products to sponsoring rural events and agricultural shows, to making direct financial contributions to farming charities—we do all we can to help where it's needed. We believe that even small businesses can make a big difference, and we’re always looking for new ways to give more. We’ve also got some exciting fundraising plans in the works… so stay tuned!
